Once you have checked out, your Eaton Press services manager will send you an email message that includes a link to a private Google Drive folder for you and your team at Eaton Press. No one else will have access to it. That’s where you’ll upload your manuscript in a single Microsoft Word document and any other files that your team will need (for example, if your package includes a head shot touch-up, you would upload your head shot as a .jpg file in the highest resolution possible).

Once you have uploaded the necessary files, a member of your team will contact you within 48 hours to give you information regarding timelines, next steps, or any other details specific to your package.

Please note that timelines are developed after you have discussed your project with your team members. In general, though, Basic Package services take about 3 weeks to complete, the Intermediate Package takes 5 weeks, and the Top-Level Package takes roughly 8 weeks for a 50,000-word manuscript.

At this time, Eaton Press is focused on providing services and support to get your book to market, but we do not provide printing, distribution or hosting services. However we are happy to answer any questions and direct you to resources that will help you complete your publishing journey. Feel free to ask your services manager for that information, or any other questions about the general process of publishing and distributing your book.
